John V. Tori
In Loving Memory of John V. Tori, always handsome, charming, and known to be sharply dressed. He passed away peacefully Monday, September 29, 2025 at age 81, in North Braddock, PA.
A hard working, great provider, who knew how to have a good time and could be found golfing, bowling in leagues, playing card games, multiple other hobbies, and social clubs.
John was onboard the USS Roosevelt (CVA-42) and then again served the country’s infrastructure at Union Switch and Signal, our community at GHS, and most recently could be seen at Grandview and Youghiogheny golf courses.
Survived by loving children: Amy (Sean), Matt (Melissa), and Brian (Sharon). Grandfather to Tyler, Natalie, Josh, Jarrett, Jacob, Angela, Michelle, Tricia, Brandon, and Alyssa. Siblings Frank and Rosemarie, nephew Michael (Francesca) Alina and Ki. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Margaret Tori, and daughter, Lori.
John was generous, loving, and even when mad, still had a sense of humor! Don’t be a jagoff, come celebrate his wonderful life at William F. Gross Funeral Home, Ltd. 11735 Frankstown Rd. (at Rodi Rd.), Penn Hills on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 2-8 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 10 a.m.
