Henry C. Schneider
Age 94, born in Johnstown, long time resident of Penn Hills, Passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Jean L.; father of Mark (Ann) Schneider, Christine (George) Dippold and Karen (John Sozansky) Schneider; grandfather of Jennifer (Brian) Jurges, Rebecca (Josh) Culpepper, Matthew (Leslie) and Alan Dippold, Michael Sozansky and Lara (John) Carpenter; great-grandfather of Jack Carpenter; brother of Peggy Eppley. “Hank” was a proud WWII veteran. He worked for multiple institutions as an engineer and eventually retired from Westinghouse. Henry loved gardening. He espicially loved growing and sharing his heirloom tomatoes. He was a loyal family man and a dedicated, long-time member and volunteer of Zion Lutheran Church.
A Memorial Service will be held in Zion Lutheran Church 11609 Frankstown Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235 Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Arrangements by William F. Gross Funeral Home Ltd.
