William “Bill” M. Wilson
William (Bill) Wilson passed into our Lords arms January 6th, 2021 and was reunited with his parents Arch and Lois Wilson. Bill is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Barbara Wilson, as well as three children: Bill (Kim) of Brentwood, TN, Jodi Zimmer (Tom Toddy) of Verona, PA, and Lori Baleno (Charles) of Plum, PA.
He loved and was adored by his grandchildren: Billy (Kati), Cameron, JJ, Kaylie, Bella, and Charlie. Bill is also survived by two brothers, Barry (Paulette) and Bobby (Maria) and numerous nephews, nieces, and great-nephews/nieces that he loved and was proud of.
Bill graduated from Penn Hills High School in 1965, served the US Army in Vietnam. He led a successful career in the furniture industry, and was widely known and respected for his work. He was also a member of the masons and served as a deacon in his church.
Bill will be missed by many, as he had so many great friends. He enjoyed golf and always had time to smoke a cigar. His family appreciates your prayers, as we love him and will miss him dearly. Family and friends will be received at William F. Gross Funeral Home at 11735 Frankstown Road (at Rodi Road) in Penn Hills on Sunday, January, 10 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. A private funeral service will be held with interment at Plum Creek Cemetery. We will be following COVID-19 state guidelines.
