Louis Anthony Rico
80, of Penn Hills, died Monday, April 27, 2015. He was born June 23, 1934, in Pittsburgh. Prior to retirement, he was an employee of United States Steel. Louis was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Having served in the U.S. Army with the 6th Infantry Division, Louis was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 6681. A loving father and grandfather, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Mulvihill) Rico; brothers Genre Pecora and Vincent James Pecora; and sisters Constance (Pecora) Suarez, Theresa (Pecora) Marvenko, and LaVerne (Rico) Fabiano. He is survived by sons Anthony (Francine) Rico , and Vincent Rico; grandchildren Louis, Allison, Anna, and James Rico; sisters Mary (Rico) Jankovic and Ann (Pecora) Kachuta; brother
John Rico; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, May 4, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral prayers at 11:00 a.m. in WILLIAM F. GROSS FUNERAL HOME LTD., 11735 Frankstown Road (at Rodi Road), Pittsburgh, 15235. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 4, at 11:30 a.m. in St. Maurice Parish, 2001 Ardmore Blvd., Pittsburgh 15221. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 1443 Lincoln Highway, North Versailles 15137.
