Pasqualina “Lina” Parente
Age 81, of Penn Hills, on Friday, September 27, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Antonio; mother of Rose, Anthony (Judy), and the late Alexander (surviving wife Glenda) Parente; grandmother of Antonio, Kaitlin, and Dante; sister of the late Vincent Zottola; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and family from Spigno Saturina and Coreno Ausonio Italy. Lina came to America in 1956 from Spigno Saturnia Italy. She was a member of the Madonna Della Civita Society, Ladies Spigno Saturnia Society where she held the office of sentry and the I Paesani Folk Group. Lina cherished her family and friends and had many talents such as her palm weaving and making her homemade cheese.

Jules “Duke” DuCarme
Born February 11, 1925 in Gastonville, PA to Susan and Jules DuCarme. Duke served during World War II in the Air Force as crew chief on C 47’s in Europe. After the war, he became an automobile mechanic until he retired at age 71. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Betty Jane, as well as many true and loyal friends; and his nieces, Alexis Cribbs and Judy Kane; and a sister, Jean Fulmer; and his Children Cheryl Harr, Susan Mowrey, Jules, Richard and Harry DuCarme. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen, Rita and Della and brothers, Howard and Reige. In lieu of Flowers, Contributions Acknowledged to a charity of your choice.
