John S. Spicuzza
Age 95, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully with family and care at Providence Point on Friday, October 6, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Lydia Greselin Spicuzza for 49 years and then remarried to Antoinette Winning Spicuzza of Penn Hills; son of the late Ignatius and Catherine (Blank) Spicuzza; loving father of Claudia (Charles) Sala of Dormont, Pa and Gary (Cheryl Alder) Spicuzza of Hampton, PA; step-father to Linda Bayer of Cleveland, OH and Robert (Jeannie) Winning of Santa Fe, NM; grandfather of Tracy (Frank) Delvaux, Craig (Carol Guy) Rossetti, Abbbie Spicuzza, Sarah (Colin) O’Hare and Brandon Spicuzza; step-srandfather of Elena and Alysse Eberhard, and Cody and Tory Winning; great-grandfather to Lydia, John, and Matthew Delvaux and Lauren and Mady Rossetti; brother of the late William Spencer and Frances Spicuzza.
John never forgot his service as a medic in WWII. He earned his living as an expert carpenter, but lived his life as a most considerate, patient and loving husband and father.

Louis V. “Lou” Montanari

At home on Saturday, September 23, 2017. After a long, courageous battle with lung cancer and pulmonary fibrosis. Beloved husband of Inez (Bondi) Montanari; loving father of Anita (Edward) Davis and Sharon (John) Williams; adoring pap pap of Stefani Marie Williams; dear brother of John Montanari; also survived by cherished nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Emily (Peticca) Montanari, his grandson, Michael Davis and his brothers, Robert and Richard Montanari.

Lou was a proud Korean War Veteran. After his retirement, he enjoyed golfing and wood working and he loved to sit in his yard and feed the birds and squirrels. Many thanks to his doctors and nurses at the Hillman Cancer Center and Celtic Home Health Hospice.

Samuel A. “Sammy” Connor, Jr.

Age 47, of Penn Hills, passed away after a lengthy illness, on Sunday, October 1, 2017. Beloved Son of Rebecca and the Late Dr. Samuel Connor; brother of Robert J. Connor; Mary Alice (Gary) Taylor, Maggie (Denis) Deet, and Becky Sue (Michael) Papurello; uncle of Emily Deet, Mary (Aaron) Pickering, Katelyn Deet, Lauren and Rebecca Taylor. The family would like to extend a great deal of gratitude to the Veteran Administration Hospitals for all their wonderful care. Friends knew Sam as an avid Mechanic and a mega classic rock fan; He served in the Airforce for 20 years and the national guard. Lois M. Wilson

Age 92, On Wednesday September 20, 2017 God took his faithful servant Lois to her home in heaven. Lois was a women of immense pride, unwavering faith in God and was fiercely independent. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Archie Wilson (1993). Lois was born in Braddock, PA, raised her family in Penn Hills and lived her last few years in Level Green, PA. She attended Holiday Park United Methodist Church. Beloved mother of William (Barbara), Barry (Paulette), and Bob (Maria); grandmother of eight; great-grandmother of 11; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
