Willard J. “Bill” Kean, Jr.
Age 82, of Penn Hills, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025. Son of the late Willard J. Kean and Lorraine Kean; father of Will (Andrea) Kean III; grandfather of Morgan Kean and Carson Kean; brother of Ester (Albert “Buzz”) Stewart. Also survived by nephews.
Bill was a graduate of Penn Hills High School. After a year of college, Bill joined the Army and served four years in Europe and was proud of his service. After returning to Pittsburgh, he worked as a machinist for Westinghouse for 20 years. Bill attended night and weekend classes at Point Park University where he graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering. He worked another ten years for Alcoa before retiring.
Bill loved Corvettes and car racing. He spent his free time enjoying both. Working on old corvettes combined his passions of engineering and problem solving. Bill had incredible patience, always made time to help others, and loved animals.
