Phillip A. Macioce

Age 74, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Penn Hills, peacefully passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Carol A.; father of Phillip (Eileen), Damon (Joelle) and Justin (Kristine); grandfather of Adeline, Andrew and Lexie Macioce; loving companion of Caroline Freiland; brother of Antoinette Smith, Joann Breen, Joseph and Thomas Macioce; son of the late Joseph and Adeline Macioce. Phil lived his life using his hands in the service of others. From fixing thousands of copiers in decades of service for Xerox, to fixing anything and everything for family members and friends, and also capturing key family moments with his camera, he was seemingly everywhere there was a need. His energy spilled into other areas such as sports and wood working. He played most every sport but had a special love for baseball, both playing it and coaching his sons for several years. He also loved the outdoors, camping and fishing. Simply put Phil Macioce lived his life solely for others his passing will leave a great void in the hearts of many.
