Louis V. “Lou” Montanari
At home on Saturday, September 23, 2017. After a long, courageous battle with lung cancer and pulmonary fibrosis. Beloved husband of Inez (Bondi) Montanari; loving father of Anita (Edward) Davis and Sharon (John) Williams; adoring pap pap of Stefani Marie Williams; dear brother of John Montanari; also survived by cherished nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Emily (Peticca) Montanari, his grandson, Michael Davis and his brothers, Robert and Richard Montanari.
Lou was a proud Korean War Veteran. After his retirement, he enjoyed golfing and wood working and he loved to sit in his yard and feed the birds and squirrels. Many thanks to his doctors and nurses at the Hillman Cancer Center and Celtic Home Health Hospice.

Friends will be received at the William F. Gross Funeral Home, 11735 Frankstown Road Pittsburgh, PA 15235 Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayers Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Susanna Church 10 a.m.
