Mary Ann Massarelli

December 31, 1914 – May 28, 2013

Peacefully on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in her 98th Year. She Graduated from the university of Pittsburgh and Taught the Classical Languages at night school before joining her Father’s Business at Patsy’s Shoe Stores. Her most rewarding experience was teaching CCD which she did for more than twenty years in different Parishes including Mother of Good Counsel and Holy rosary in Homewood. She was the daughter of the late Patsy and Carmela Massarelli and Sister of the late John, Elizabeth, Philomena and Joseph Massarelli and Joan (Anthony) Farina. Beloved Sister In-Law of Marge Massarelli. Dear Aunt of Jim (Pat), Bob, Joe (Rhonda), Mary Beth (Ken) Thiel, Jean Marie and Anthony Gerard Farina. Three Great Nieces and one Great Nephew. One Great Great Niece and Four Great Great Nephews. She was the last family member of her Generation and leaves behind many seeds of faith, wisdom, Humor, and Prayer. “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also”
