Christy G. Wellhausen

Age 49, of Penn Hills, on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, Christy went to sleep forever in her mother’s arms. Preciously adored daughter of Gretchen and the late Charles Wellhausen; cherished sister of Daniel (Elizabeth) Wellhausen, her big brother who could always make her laugh, Sharon (Jim) Craig, her caring and supportive sister, Katie (Joseph) Klocek who tenderly and lovingly helped care for her sister. She is now in the arms of her devoted dad. Services and interment private.

 

 

David George Felmley

Of Penn Hills, born December 9, 1934 passed away April, 12, 2017. A great father and a friend to many, passed away peacefully after holding off cancer for 17 years.  Preceded in death by spouse of 40 years Donna Jean, 1942 to 2003.  Survived by two sons, Gregory and Thomas Annette (Merlino) Felmley, and one granddaughter, Leia. Brother- and sister-in-law Jeff and Edie Dull and their children, as well as other nephews, nieces and cousins.  David worked for 37 years for Westinghouse Electric Company, and was a regular attendee of the Westinghouse Trades Apprentice Alumni Association’s dinners, as he started there as a teenager.  After Westinghouse, he and Donna opened Attic Antiques, a small shop in Delmont PA.  A devoted hobbyist, collecting antiques and toy trains over more than fifty years, David was pleased to share his hobby with many friends in various associations.  One of the co-authors of a well respected book on Lionel trains, he was often consulted for information or to make repairs in his home machine shop.  As a race mechanic, in 1962 his car won the first sanctioned race ever run at the Mid Ohio race course.

Age 86, of Penn Hills, on Thursday, March 30, 2017. Beloved wife of the late George; mother of Rose (Wally) Fairchok, Carol (Graham) Nye, Karen Sorrels, Patricia Yost, George (Wendy)Yost, Joe (Jill) Yost, Tom (Colleen) Yost, Fred Yost, Ruth (Dave) Hart, Anne (Chuck) Hoffman, David (Tammie) Yost, Bill (Jenny) Yost, Robert (Barb) Yost, Richard Yost; Sister of Leo Einloth, and the late Margaret Zuccher, Ursula Rectenwald, Gerard Einloth and Sr. Josephine Einloth O.S.F.; also survived by 28 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Age 94, of Penn Hills, on Saturday, April 1, 2017 in William Penn Care Center. Beloved wife of the late Harry; mother of Carol (Hank) Farrell, Kathy (Dennis) Honeycutt, Harry (Angelina), and Robert (Diana) Kingerski; grandmother of Bill (Monica), Becky, and Bob Werley, Christina (Stephen) Ramon, Susan (Paul) Owensby and Joseph Kingerski; great-grandmother of Charles, Harrison, Nicole, Tony, Christian and Savannah; great-great-grandmother of Jameson, Marley, Lilly, Maya and Logan; sister of the late Fred, Charles and Mary.

Age 63, of Washington Township, formerly of Penn Hills, on Wednesday March 29, 2017. Beloved husband of Linda (Iarrusso); father of Raymond, James, and Nicholas Luther. Mr. Luther was a retired Penn Hills Police officer serving for 27 years.
