Jennie F. Cosentino

Age 86, of Penn Hills, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Peter P., Sr.; mother of Ramona Cosentino (John Tramell), Cecilia Gray, and Peter Cosentino, Jr.; grandmother of Amber and Zachary Philips, Nicole (Ray) Loveledge, Daniel Gray, Peter III (Randi) and Jacob Cosentino; great-grandmother of 4; sister of Ross Orgera and 4 late siblings; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

John E. Mathis

Age 79, of Penn Hills, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022. Son of the late Elmer F. and Margaret R. Mathis; brother of Dorothy (John) Funaro and Karl Mathis; uncle of William (Tracey) Funaro and Susan (Sean) Cassidy; great-uncle of Ashley, Breanna, Dylan, and Jayden; great-great-uncle of Charli. Roseann K. “Roe Roe” Fischetti

Age 62, of Plum, formerly of Penn Hills, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Beloved wife of Butch Dillman; daughter of the late John and Rose Fischetti; sister of Michelle (Tom) Phillips and the late John Fischetti; proud aunt of Mackenzie and Colemann Phillips, and Lindsay Fischetti; also survived by numerous loving cousins and friends. Roseann had a great love for spending time with Mackenzie, Colemann, and Lindsay. She was a 1978 graduate of Penn Hills High School.

Lois J. McMaster (Reichenecker)

Age 95, of Wilkins Twp., formerly of Plum Borough, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 17, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Richard W. McMaster. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alma and Wm. F. Reichenecker and her brother Wm. J. Reichenecker. Mother of Richard (Vicki), Daniel (Sandi), Donald (Diane), Timothy (Cheryl), Pamela McMaster, and Di (John) McMaster; also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Lois worked for Mine Safety Appliances for 29 years and was also a member of the Pgh Wardrobe Union (IATSE Local 787) for many years. Her greatest passion was bowling; she was inducted into The Greater Pgh Bowling Hall of Fame in 1987 and remained active in two bowling leagues up to the time of her death. As recently as June of 2021 she traveled to Reno, NV to compete in the Woman’s National Bowling Tournament and received an award for her 40 years of continuous participation in the event.

Thomas E. Morante

Age 72, of Penn Hills passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Beloved father of Christopher and Alexander Morante and grandfather of Landon, Liliana and Josiah as well as uncle to several nieces and nephews. Thomas was a fixture in the Italian food scene in Pittsburgh for the better part of 50 years. His unique recipes and dishes created a following over years in restaurants including Eastwood Inn, Cassini’s, Tigano’s Inn, The Mirage and Liliana’s Restaurant in Fords, New Jersey. Thomas loved his family, horses, his late dog “Minnie” as well as the feeling he got from people enjoying his food. Friends received at Rolling Hills Baptist Church 120 Gernert Dr, Verona, Saturday February 12, 2022 from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. with a celebration of life dinner to follow immediately after for all in attendance.
