Age 94, of Penn Hills, originally born in Indiprete, Italy, passed away peacefully Monday, December 20, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Elmer “John”; mother of Catherine (Bill) Damico Brock, David (Joy) Damico, and Loretta (the late Bill) Pollitt; grandmother of Michelle Wright, Daria Damico, and Stephanie Pollitt; great-grandmother of Jameson, Elvis, and Rosalia; sister of Rita Tamburri and the late Jean Spina and Frank Tamburri. Age 86, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully at home with his family on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Beloved husband of 66 years to Carolyn (Berg); father of Susan Luffy, Eugene (Debi) Kunkel, Col. Nancy Kunkel, Gary (Judy) Kunkel, Virginia (Rich) Bodnar, and Deborah (Duke) Denne; grandfather of Robert, Lindsey, Olivia, Abby, Ashley, and Michael; great-grandfather of Tyler, Shane, Lila, Marcus, and Londyn; brother of Richard Kunkel and the late Sister M. Francesca, Harry, and Charles. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Gene was a proud US Army veteran. Age 85, of Penn Hills, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Father of Angela M. (Bob) Grecko, Donna Lynn (Richard) Aten, Lisa J. (the late Bob) Stewart, and Christine R. O’Donnell; brother of JoAnn Churma and the late Louise Stanley, Irene Giran, and William Stawiany; grandfather of 8; great-grandfather of 5. Donald enjoyed socializing at the Penn Hills senior center and playing bingo. He also loved watching the Penguins, Pirates, and Steelers. John “Jack” Weisser
Age 89, of Penn Hills, formerly of Point Breeze, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021. Brother of the late Frank, Eugene, and Paul Weisser. Best uncle ever to numerous nieces, nephew, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was a kind and generous friend to many. Avid bocce player, karaoke singer, devoted American Legion member, and proud US Army veteran that served during the Korean war. Thomas Glenn Reitz
Age 87, of Penn Hills, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021. Beloved husband of 65 years to Betty Jean (O’Malley); father of Thomas (the late Wendy) Reitz, Catherine (Gene) Paski, Donald (Denise) Reitz, and Glenn Reitz; grandfather of 14; great-grandfather of 9; brother of the late Dolores Schwartz, Donald Reitz, Anna Mae Andrasko, and Donna O’Neill. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Tom was a devout catholic and an active member of St. Susanna Church for 61 years. A member of Penn Hills Baseball Association Hall of Fame. He enjoyed performing in musical stage productions with Penn Hills Alumni Association, St. Augustine’s Dramatic Guild, the US Army, the Pittsburgh Playhouse, and Pittsburgh Moose 46. Throughout his life, Tom was a chemist for the Penn Hills Water Pollution Control and an avid golfer.
