Robert P. Hohan

Age 70, of Penn Hills, passed away suddenly Friday, September 17, 2021. Son of the late Thomas E. and Mary L. Hohan; brother of Janet (Michael) DiVincenzo and the late Thomas M. and Gary E. Hohan; uncle of Michael T., Jeffrey R., and Gregory A. Divincenzo, Amy (Dan) Fensch, Angie Lutrick, Michael Hohan, Aaron Gall, and Sean Hohan.

Service and interment private.

 

 

William M. “Bill” Andrews, Sr.

Age 84, of Penn Hills, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021. Beloved husband of the Late Saundra L.; father of Linda L. Walker, Kristy L. (James) Taylor, and William M. Andrews, Jr.; grandfather of Ryan and David Taylor and Jessica Walker; brother of Thomas (Barbara) Andrews. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Special friend of Mary Sprajcar. William was a proud member of Infinity Masonic Lodge 546 in Penn Hills. He had a deep love for his canine companions Emma and Toby.

Service and interment private.

 

 

Bruce S. Wright

Age 74, of Oakmont, formerly of Penn Hills, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021, after battling a long illness. Beloved husband of Peggy (Adams); father of Sherry (Jay) Yohe and Bruce A. Wright; grandfather of Tyler and Nicole Yohe; brother of Patty Iscrupe, Russ Wright, and Shirley Daw.

Bruce loved spending time with his grandchildren, playing a round of golf and grabbing a drink with the guys. He also retired after a 25-year career at the Allegheny County Coroner’s office.

Friends received at William F. Gross Funeral Home 11735 Frankstown Rd. (at Rodi Rd.), Penn Hills Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. The family is requesting that everyone please wear a mask. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10 a.m.

 

 

George R. “Razor” Tesla, Sr.

Of Penn Hills, South Side and Bloomfield, passed away at 91, Friday, September 3. 2021 US Army Sgt, earned a Korean Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars.  Member of SOAR, Elks, VFW Post 914.   Worked at Wm Penn Hotel and J&L Steel.  Husband to his beloved late wife Evangeline M. Gonzalez Tesla, father of George Tesla, Jr., Peg Duggan, Marilyn Tesla and Chris Tesla; brother of Dorothy Tesla-McCoy and Marlene "Buttons" Tesla-Fabiano; also survived by two grandchildren, Erin and Heather and two great-grandchildren, Anthony and Christopher.

Friends received in William F. Gross Funeral Home Ltd., 11735 Frankstown Rd. (at Rodi Rd.) Penn Hills, where service will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11 a.m. Visitation Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

Of Forest Hills Borough, suddenly and quietly went Home to be with The Lord on Sunday, August 22, 2021. He will be remembered and cherished by Family and Friends as an awesome Man of God who always had an encouraging word for those he met along the way, on his journey of life. A Homegoing Celebration Service will be held the following day, Monday, August 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Rodman Street Missionary Baptist Church located at 6111 Rodman Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. Interment will follow in The Homewood Cemetery at 1599 South Dallas Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217.
