Michelle R.  Langhorst

On March 30, 2015, Michelle Rachael Langhorst, passed away.  Michelle was recently Honorably Discharged from the US Army after 9 and a half years as a Staff Sergeant  During her service with the Army,  she served a tour in Afghanistan during Iraqi Freedom and 4 years at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.

She is survived by her sister, Nicole Marie Langhorst and parents Connie and Michael Langhorst.  She is also survived by her Uncle Sam Mosco and Aunt JuJu, Uncle Tom and Aunt Cheryl Langhorst, her Godmother Carol Clemente, many cousins, nieces and nephews, so many wonderful friends and her friend and Oliver James.   Michelle had such a kind and compassionate heart, she was always willing to help those in need and other veterans.  She also donated much of her time working for the Wounded Warrior Project

Arthur A. Fedele

Of Penn Hills, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015, after a long and courageous battle with heart disease. Survived by his loving partner of 28 years Lynne Price; daughters Rene (Kevin) Rourke, Lynn (Lance) Mischen, and Diane (Jim) Hannum; grandchildren Veronica, Cassie, Dominque, Isabella, Nathaniel, Christopher and Seth; also by many loving nieces, nephews and wonderful friends; preceded in death by parents Paul and Agnes Fedele; Wife Rita (Berg) Fedele and brother Paul Jr.

Arthur was a 1951 graduate of Wilkinsburg High school, and an army veteran of the Korean war then later he participated in many veterans groups including Sharing and Caring and the Penn Hills Veterans association. He was also a member of the Verona Eagles. His entire career was spent at Bell of PA. During that period of time he became an active member of Fort Pitt chapter of Pioneers, and participated in numerous activities throughout the community. He held the position of President for a number of years and was an inductee into the pioneer hall of fame. Art led a very full and active life. He was also a member of a scuba club, Penn Hills Senior Softball league, an avid fisherman, hunter and cross country skier.

He was a very loving and giving man and will be missed by his family and many, many friends.

Keith W. Guardipee

Age 81 of Penn Hills on Saturday March 21, 2015. Loving husband of Lillian Patricia (West) Guardipee, father to Nancy Buri and Douglas Bentz, and also survived by many nieces and nephews. Originally from Browning, Montana, Keith was very proud of his Native American Indian Blackfoot heritage. After earning his BS in Chemistry at Carroll College in Montana, he had a lengthy career with Westinghouse Research. He enjoyed teaching Math and Chemistry at ACCC and was an avid reader his whole life. Personal interests included
animal welfare and photography.

 

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Sunday March 29, 2015 at Woodhaven Care Center, 2400 McGinley Rd, Monroeville, PA 15146
