Domenic A. “Dee Dee” Frasca
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Domenic A. Frasca, a distinguished World War II veteran and esteemed Justice Magistrate, who peacefully departed this life at the age of 102 on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12, 2024. Domenic spent his final years under the loving care of his stepdaughter, Hope Mackey, and her husband, Rich Mackey.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1922, Domenic was raised with love and guidance, alongside his three beloved siblings growing up on Larmar Avenue. He demonstrated unparalleled bravery and valor when he fearlessly answered the call to serve in the United States Army during World War II, where his bravery and dedication left an indelible mark on all who served alongside him.
Returning home after the war, Domenic embarked on a distinguished career in law, becoming a respected Justice Magistrate known for his unwavering commitment to justice and fairness. His legacy of integrity continues to inspire those who follow in his footsteps.
In his final years, Domenic found solace and comfort in the nurturing embrace of Hope and Rich, who provided him with the love, care, and dignity he deserved.
Domenic's memory will be forever cherished by his family. He is preceded in death by his mother Rose Frasca, father Charles Frasca, brother Philip Frasca, and sister Rena Frasca Labriola. He is survived by his brother John Frasca, numerous nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends and acquaintances whose lives he touched with his kindness, wisdom, and generosity.

Joseph F. Connors
Master Sergeant Joseph F. Connors, age 100, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Presbyterian SeniorCare Network, the Willows. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley (Adams) Connors; father of Barbara (Michael) Kurcina of Venice, FL. And Daniel (Sandy) Connors of Plum Boro; grandfather of Joseph and Jeremy (Danielle Seigneur) Kurcina. Also survived by his sister Bernadette Klepsky and many nieces and nephews. Joe retired from the Air Force with 20 years of service. The family would like to express their gratitude to Presbyterian SeniorCare Network, the Willows and Heartland Hospice, especially Claire and Lyndsay. Christa M. Weigold
Age 51, of Penn Hills, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Beloved daughter of Marie Podolak and the late Thomas A. Weigold; sister of Scott Weigold and the late Jeffrey Weigold. Also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Paul M. Bucci
Age 76, of Penn Hills, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 2, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Bonita M. Bucci; father of Christopher (Jasmin) Bucci, Jennifer (Howard) Kelly, and the late Dana Bucci; pap of Edward, Brianna, Brendan, Katelyn, Noah, Santino, and Abigail; pappy of Aubrey. Paul was one of three children to the late Rocco and Mary “Sally” Bucci. Paul was a proud US Army Veteran that served during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, being outdoors, and listening to music by CCR.

Timothy J. Fox
Age 77, of Penn Hills, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 after battling several health issues. Tim was born November 5, 1946 to Harry and Olga Fox. He is preceded in death by his brothers Harry and Dennis. He is survived by his son David, grandson Levi Fox, sister Marjorie Cerra, nephews Jimmy and John (Katie), great nephew Matthew Cerra, long time cherished “significant other” of over 30 years Diane Smith, grandchildren Valerie and Tony Franciscus, and many cousins and friends.
Tim graduated Penn Hills High School then joined the US Air Force. He worked as an aircraft electrician during the Vietnam War and retired as Master Sergeant Timothy J. Fox after a proud distinguished military career of 21 years.
Tim had several jobs after his military retirement, one of which was for ITT, a job he loved. He worked at the Top of the World in Thule Greenland for four years and then started his career at US Postal Service as a mail carrier and retired after 24 years as Safety Manager Western Pennsylvania District. Tim always said his job was “to keep your boss’s ass out of trouble” and he did that every day of his dedicated postal career.
Tim loved the Steelers and was a season ticket holder for many years. He also loved both watching and playing golf. He looked forward to Thursday afternoons when he would join his counterparts from the Pittsburgh Bulk Mail Center for a round.
Tim was a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, and companion and was incredibly generous to those around him. He will be remembered for his famous saying that he was “Strong like bull” and “Hugs and kisses” when leaving events.
