Don “The Electrician” L. Clark

Age 87, of Monroeville, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022. Beloved husband of 69 years to Catherine. Son of the late Thomas and Helen Clark; father of Don (Christine), Jr., Deborah, Peter, the late Cathy Ann (Ron) Smalstig, and Thomas Clark; grandfather of Don T. Clark, and the late Sean Smalstig; brother of Dorothy Daw, the late Lois Richey, Lorraine Lawyer, and Gail Nonnenberg. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and business associates. Don was a go-to electrician for all jobs large or small. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 415 Crossways Park Drive, Suite D, Woodbury, New York  11797 or to a charity of your choice. As per Don’s wishes, the service and interment will be private but please enjoy a Pittsburgh Creme on Don.

Jen T. Scampone (Fedele)

John L. (Jack) Leavy

Age 96, of Murrysville, formerly of Penn Hills, passed peacefully on January 5, 2022.   Beloved husband of 70 years of the late Betty.  Father of John (Cindy), Wendy Meadows, the late Joan Harmon (Jeffrey) and Paul (Linda).  Loving Grandad to 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Jack was retired after working for General Motors AC-Delco Division for 35 years.  He was a 70-year member of Infinity Lodge No. 546 F&AM.  Jack was a proud member of Syria Shrine Temple, where he served as Potentate in 1993, was a member of the Legion of Honor, Honorary Life-Member of the Harige Unit, Hillbilly Clan #53, Penn Hills Caravan #20, and the Shrine Circus Committee

Jack is a World War II Veteran, where he served as a Pharmacist Mate in the United States Navy.  He loved family get togethers, dogs, playing cards, cars, circuses, and always had a witty response for any comment.

Friends and Family will be received on Friday, January 7th from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at William F. Gross Funeral Home, 11735 Frankstown Road (at Rodi Road), Penn Hills. A Masonic Funeral Ceremony will take place at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 8^th.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children-Erie Unit, c/o Syria Shrine, 1877 Shriners Way, Cheswick, PA 15024.  The family extends special thanks to the caring staff of Bridges Hospice and Redstone Highlands in Murrysville.  Remember to always, “be damn careful”.
