Age 86, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Young; father of Anthony (Kathy) Young, James (Jodi) Young, Dana (Brian) Giba, and Andrea Young; grandfather of 13; great grandfather of 12; brother of Mary Alice (Barry) Onufer. Ed is a retired 373 Laborer Union member and a proud Marine. Genevieve “Jenny” Baer
Genevieve “Jenny” (Makatura) Baer, age 83, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 24, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Charles Baer; eldest daughter of the late Clarence and Genevieve Makatura; loving mother of Michael (Sandy) Baer and Michelle (Robert) LaCivita; dedicated “Meem” of grandchildren Jennifer (Robert) Turner, Kristin (Josh) Mathew, and Bryan LaCivita, and great-grandchildren Jak Turner and Bret Turner; sister of Dorothy (the late Walt) Jaworski, Margaret (the late John) Cangelier, and Sandra (Louis) Faverio. She will also be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jenny worked in the floral industry for many years, most recently retiring from Johnston the Florist. She enjoyed relaxing in the sun with a good book, baking her famous nut rolls, and singing, humming, or whistling a tune close to her heart. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family; her children and grandchildren were her whole world. Jenny lived her life with dignity and strength even after facing adversity, and she could always bring a smile to those around her.
Family and friends will be received at William F. Gross Funeral Home at 11735 Frankstown Road (at Rodi Road) in Penn Hills on Wednesday, December 30, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will directly follow at Saint Susanna Church at 12:00 p.m. We will be following COVID-19 state guidelines. Lorraine L. Marinacci
Passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Frank L, Marinacci; mother of Kimberly (Tony) Stasko and Lynne Kalbaugh – Manning; grandmother of John, Charles, and Ashley; great grandmother of Jacen, Wyatt, Leena, Charles, and Jacob; sister of the late Robert (Clementine) Ecroyd. Age 89, of Murrysville, formerly of East Liberty, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020. Brother of Rose Moschella; dear cousin of Carmella (the late Vincent) Leonette. Mary Lou (Moore) Camp
Of Penn Hills, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Michael W. Camp; mother of Bill (Cathy) Camp, Gary (Sheri) Camp, Mary Jo (Met) Kulik; grandmother of six; great-grandmother of thirteen; sister of surviving siblings Jack (Sue) Moore, Bill (Eilene) Moore and Bud (the late Mary Ann) Moore. She retired from Giant Eagle in Penn Hills and was a member and past secretary, honored with mother of the year, of the Eagles (women’s auxiliary) Post 1634 in Verona. Mary Lou enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
