A. Verna "Dolly" Lamborn

Age 99, formerly of Penn Hills passed away September 3, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Chauncey E. Lamborn; aunt of Barbara (Warren) Witte and the late Marilyn Lamborn. Dolly was active in the Western PA lady’s Golf Association and an Eastern Star member. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society 320 Bilmar Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15205. There will be a graveside service at Monongahela Cemetery, 1111 4th St, Braddock, PA 15104 on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 10 a.m. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY.

 

Norma G. Gula

Age 89, of Penn Hills, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018. Beloved wife of the late John; mother of John Gula, Mary (Mark) Howe, Kathie (Kip) Cooper, George (Mary Jean) Gula, Susanna (Paul) Sapsara and the late Karen (Surviving spouse Richard) Spence; grandmother of 15; great-grandmother of 10; sister of Michael and Matthew Griffin and the late Thomas, John “Billy” and Martin Griffin; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert D. Hensell
Age 90, of Penn Hills, On Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Eleanore A. “Pinky” Hensell; son of the late Arthur and Eleanore Hensell; brother of Shirley K. (Jack) Smith, James L. (Eileen) Hensell, Margaret R. (James C.) Bonidie and the late ArthurM., Hensell Jr. and Donald G.  (surviving wife Patricia) Hensell; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob was a United States Marine during the Korean War. He will be loved and missed by all that knew him.
Friends will be received at the William F. Gross Funeral Home, 11735 Frankstown Road Pittsburgh, PA 15235 where a service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Visitation Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

 

 

Rose Ann “Rosie” Plata
Age 74, of Penn Hills, formerly of the Northside, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018. Beloved wife of Robert L. Plata; loving mother of Brad Lee Plata; step mother of Brian E. and Robert L. Plata, II; daughter of the late Robert D., Sr. and Lois Hallstein; sister of Lois B. Boul, Elaine A. Killmeyer, Robert D. Hallstein, Jr., and James Hallstein. Rose Ann was employed at Allegheny General Hospital where she worked for 38 years. Previously she was a secretary for the Firemen Fund of Pittsburgh. Rosie was a member of Airy’s Temple #48, Daughters of the Nile, and a member of St. Bartholomew Church.

Michele Y. Lang
Age 60, of Chicago and Pittsburgh passed away Monday, August 20, 2018. Beloved mother of Bethany Lang and Caitlyn (William) Jones; sister of Dave (Sue) Chobanian. Michele is predeceased by her late parents Charles and Norma Chobanian, and her late cat Jazz.
