Robert C. Hitchens “Hitch”

Age 78 , of Penn Hills, on Saturday, September 19, 2015.  Beloved husband of 51 years to the late Ione Hitchens; father of Dwight (Elaine) Hitchens; grandfather of Jessica Watson and Sandy Hitchens; great grandfather of Patrick Hitchens, and Amelia and Marilyn Watson; brother of the late Tommy; brother in-law of Gordon Yaughan (Dolli) and the late Wilber Yaughan. Hitch served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of SMWIA for 57 years. A special thanks would like to be extended to his extraordinary neighbors Jack and Lois Kowalski. Richard J. “Dick” Frankenburg

Age 86, of Wilkinsburg, on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Sue Anna; father of Cheryl (John) Brady, and Linda (Randy) Lintelman; Grandfather of Katie, Brendan and Bridget Brady, and Andrew, Anna, Emma, and Michael Lintelman. Hedy T. Jacob (Dvorsky)

Age 79, of Penn Hills, on Saturday, September 5, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Vincent B. Jacob, Jr.; mother of Karl V. (Sue) and Larry (Stephanie) Jacob; Grandmother of Derek, Emma, Jared and Troy Jacob; sister of Marge (Bill) Burke and the late Albert and Thomas (surviving spouse Kathy) Dvorsky; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Hedy enjoyed traveling with her late husband to many NFL games and events. She subsequently served as the secretary for western Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame for many years. Hedy is a retiree of S&T bank and she also enjoyed ushering shows at the Benedum

Age 75, of Penn Hills, on Monday, September 14, 2015. Beloved wife of William DiNatale; mother of William Jr. (Kim), Dan (Maria), Stephen (Kelly) DiNatale and Kathy (Jeff) Arndt; grandmother of 12; great-grandmother of two; sister of Richard and Frank Aliberti, and the late Angelo Aliberti and Mary Jane DelDuca. Clement Aloysius DeFrancesco

Age 94, of Penn Hills, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Helen, his sister Delores and brother James. He is survived by his son Clement (Deborah) DeFrancesco of Moon Township, sister Regina (Edward) Tanzillo of Beaver, brother Albert (Shirley) DeFrancesco of St. Louis MO and brother John DeFrancesco of Oakland. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Clement was a lifetime member of St. Charles Lwanga/Mother of Good Council Parish. He was a World War II Army veteran and was awarded five Battle Stars, one Bronze Invasion Arrowhead, and a Good Conduct Medal for his actions with the first infantry division in Europe. He was a member of the American Legion.
