Passed away peacefully in her sleep at Woodhaven Care Center on August 3, 2015 at the age of 88. Wife of recently deceased husband Keith W. Born on August 18, 1926, she grew up in Edgewood, graduated from Edgewood High School in 1944 and married Henry C. Bentz in 1946. Latershe resided in Regent Square, Canonsburg, Wilkinsburg and Penn Hills. She later married Keith W. Guardipee in 1961.

In her early years Pat worked for Fashion Hosiery and Wilkinsburg Savings and Loan. She later helped run the Crusades Stables in Plum Boro and found her true passion… horses! Pat just loved being around horses, especially her beloved Champ. Many generations of young people grew up and blossomed under the loving influence of this amazing woman. We would all work at the stables, help feed and brush the nearly 70-some horses there. Then you would saddle up for a ride with Pat… and receive your lessons about love, personal responsibility and caring about others.

Despite the hardships of dealing with crippling arthritic pain for years, this woman loved life. She deeply loved all of the many people that were lucky enough to have had this woman in their lives. She changed Lives!

Now you can Get back up in that saddle Mum, and Ride Champ into Bliss!

Love always from your son and daughter Douglas and Nancy.
