Virginia “Ginny” Caroline Weise
81, Verona, PA. Passed away February 27, 2015 at home of natural causes. Born in Cresson, PA. Daughter of the late Guy and Mary Grace (Machiarola) Albarano. Beloved wife of Chef George P. Weise, whom she married on November 15, 1958. He preceded her in death on December 17, 2002. Also proceeded in death by sisters, Palma Dubis, Louise Santa Maria, and Mary Shandor; and brothers, John, Joseph, Francis, Albert, and Raymond. Survived by children, George (Kimberly) and Mark (Kari) Weise; Grandchildren, Lindsay Weise, Jonathan Weise, Shalana Scott, Nicole Weise, Brandon Weise, and Tyler Kartman, and Six Great Grandchildren; sister, Rose Weber; and Thirty one Nieces and Nephews. Member of St. Gerard’s Catholic Church, Verona, and local garden club, Red Hat Society and Quilting Club. Services to be held Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church, 121 Dawn Drive, Verona, PA at 11 a.m. and a memorial mass will be held March 5, 2015 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 7911 Admiral Peary Hwy, Cresson, PA at 12:30 p.m. In Lieu of flowers contributions acknowledged to Compassion International, 12290 Voyager Parkway,

Christina “Chris” Aliberti
passed away February 26, 2015 at the age of 99 and a half years at Forbes Hospice in Bloomfield, PA. Beloved wife of the late Carmen Aliberti; loving mother of Anthony C. (Eileen) and Raymond J. (Peggy) Aliberti; dear grandmother of Christina (Craig) McMullen, Victoria (Michael) Dowling, Anthony C., Jr. (Dorothy) Aliberti, Eileen (Juan) Palaez and Matthew (Jill) Aliberti; nine loving great-grandchildren; sister of Margaret Aquila, Helen Amendola, Yolanda Troiano, Chester D'Aquila, and Anetto D'Aquila
Chris will be remembered for her incredible strength and courage in dealing with whatever obstacles she had to overcome. She always said she got her strength from a strong belief in God. Chris was an inspiration to all those who loved her . She will be sadly missed.
