Martha S. “Marty” Gallagher
Age 96, of Jeannette, on Thursday, May 19, 2016. Wife of the late Donald E. Gallagher; mother of the late Linda and James Gallagher; mother in-law of Jean Gallagher; sister of William Soost; grandmother of Sondra, Cindy and Robert Zilen, and Lauren and Kelly Gallagher; great-grandmother of Dylan and Shawn Klingerman and Elizabeth Thornhill; also survived by six great-great-grandchildren.

Virginia M. "Ginny" Daer
Age 89, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Masonic Village in Sewickley, PA; formerly of Wilkinsburg and Penn Hills. Beloved daughter of the late William J. and Alice M Daer; sister of William Richard (Dick) Daer, and June D Long. Survived by her nieces, Debra Long Gschwender and Christine Daer Howe, several nephews, two cousins, and many close family friends, especially Joe and Charlene Bach, and their daughters, Jessie and Ali.
Virginia was employed as a Secretary at Duquesne University School of Nursing. She was a member of the South Avenue United Methodist Church, Wilkinsburg, PA for many years. She was a Past Matron of Orient Chapter No. 35, order of the Eastern Star for over sixty (60) years; and held many Grand Chapter of PA appointments during her years of service. Virginia was a volunteer with the Masonic Village of Sewickley and the American Cancer Society.

Age 92, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Russell E. Angelo; mother of Denise M. Angelo; sister of the late Anthony, August, Mary, Thomas, Frank, Rose, Josephine, Helen and Lucille; aunt of Gloria Newcomer, Frank Magri and several late nieces and Nephews; also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Age 82, of Penn Hills, on Saturday, May 14, 2016. Wife of Alfred Flaherty; mother of Gail (the late William) Redpath, Lynne (Brian) Fedak, Anne Flaherty (John Lajzo), Joyce Flaherty, and Kate Martin; grandmother of Nicole (Jimmy), Michelle (Josh), Amber (Warren), Zoe and Emma; great-grandmother of Luke. Martha had a love for music, played the bass fiddle and was dedicated to her friends at Penn Hills Free Methodist Church. Friends will be received in William F. Gregory Daniel Ambrose
Age 44, of Arlington VA, originally from Pittsburgh PA, died on May 3, 2016. Greg is survived by his parents; Gregory J. and Rosemarie Ambrose; he is the brother of Michelle (Paul) Kontos, Daniel and Joshua Ambrose; uncle of Marissa Bosh and Konstantinos Kontos; also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. Greg graduated from The George Washington University with a Master’s Degree in Information Systems Technology, Management of Information Systems, including Chief Information Officer Certification. Greg was Chief Information Officer for the Department of Homeland Security, Chief Information Officer for the Department of State, Deputy Chief Information Officer of product development for the Department of Veteran Affairs, Systems Engineering Chief/Systems Development Lead for the Department of Defense. In 2013 Greg earned a Federal 100 award for his work as Chief Information Officer of the Department of Homeland Security Visitor and Immigrant Status Indicator Technology program, whose successor is the Office of Biometric Identity Management.
