Shirley Connors (Adams)
On Saturday, November 22, 2014, Shirley Connors, 88 of Oakmont, formerly of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Beloved wife of 58 years to Joseph Connors; mother of Barbara (Michael) Kurcina of Plum Borough and Daniel Connors of Penn Hills; grandmother of Joseph and Jeremy Kurcina; also survived by sisters-in-law Kathleen Schott and Bernadette Klepsky; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brothers Clyde and William Adams; niece Colleen Adams and Nephew Dale Adams. The family would like to express their gratitude to Presbyterian Senior Care, Woodside Place and the Willows as well as family hospice. A special thanks to Aunt B, Cindy and Gary who helped us through this journey. “And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it” Eccl 12:7

Our angel JP left this world on Friday, November 21, 2014. He was 28 years old. He left behind his mother Paula (Keith) Getz; father Jack (Pam) Balson; step siblings Ryan Getz, Alexis and Matthew Balson; grandparents Paul Karpiak the late Connie, and the late Nick and Tillie Balson. He adored his buddy Bandit, attended the Art Institute, Loved hockey, wrestling and movies. He leaves behind many relatives and friends that he loved very much.
