Age 64, of Verona, on Sunday, November 16, 2014. Beloved husband of Charmaine; father of Robert Corrigan, Daniel Starr, James Moore; brother of Charles Corrigan, Carol Haskins and the late
William Corrigan; also survived by six grandchildren.

Josephine “Jo” Petrucci (Mieri)

Age 83, of Penn Hills, on Sunday, November 16, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Nunzio; mother of Phillip (Jean) of Virginia, Margaret Ann, Michael (Debbie) Petrucci, and Carmella (Late Guy Jr.) Ingagliato; also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren; Sister of Joann Jaskolski, Connie (Edmond) DePaolo, Jeannie (Tony) Castellano and the late Eugene and Ernest Mieri. Jo was an active member of St. Gerard Majella church and volunteered at the Penn Hills Senior Center.

Robert L. Goldinger “Digger”

Age 61, of Butler, on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Beloved brother of Jim (Ardene) Goldinger, Daniel Goldinger, Kerry (Debbie) Goldinger, Judith (Walter)Hartman, Helen Kinney, Belinda Goldinger and the late David Meckley; Significant other Beth Hall, and her family; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Winfield Fire Hall,
200 Brose Road, Cabot, PA 16023, from 1-4 p.m.

 

Donald C. Altenburger

On Saturday, October 25, 2014, peacefully in his sleep. He is once again with his beloved wife, Diddy. He joined the Army Air Corp in his senior year of high school. He received his flight training at Cape Girardeau, MO where he learned to fly an A26 medium bomber. From there he was stationed in England with the 356th Martin Marauders bomber group. While there he switched to flying a B26 bomber as the command pilot. After the war he married Daisy Beaird and lived in Penn Hills. He Joined the Air Force Reserves at Greater Pittsburgh’s 911th MAC base and Flew C119’s and then C124’s until he retired from the service in 1985 as a Lt. Colonel. During this time he worked at hall Laboratories which later would be Calgon Corp. until they were bought by Merck. He was a chemical Engineer that specialized in industrial water treatment. He was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy, 20 years earlier. He is survived by his sister Christine Altenburger, two sons, Larry, his wife Gail, their daughter Carley, and Denis and his wife Wendy Walker. The family asks that in lieu of flowers contributions be acknowledged to Alzheimer’s research, Breast Cancer, or the American Heart Association. There will be no Funeral Service. Interment will be at a later date.

 

Marion Louise Connelly

Age 86, formerly of Penn Hills, on Tuesday November 11, 2014. Beloved wife of the late James; mother of Vera (Larry) Kohlhoff, Joyce (the late Donnie), Weis, Janet Tougher, and James Connelly; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; also survived by four brothers and one sister. Marion was a faithful member of the Grace Baptist Church of Monroeville.
