Age 81, of Penn Hills, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Anna Marie; brother of Carol (Dick) Bittner; also survived by nieces, nephews, his walking friends and Janet Sikorski. For many years Bob was an usher at St. Bartholomew Church.

Joseph Douglas “Doug” Goyette
Age 82, of Pittsburgh, PA, formerly of Tucson, AZ, originally of Rochester, NY, passed away Sunday May 5, 2019. Beloved Husband of Doris J. “DJ” Goyette and the late Kathleen J. Murphy; father of Richard Leon, Douglas Michael, Jacqueline and Jennifer Goyette; step-father of Porter Hawthorne, Jr., Carla Hawthorne- Howard, Sonja and Derrick Hawthorne; son of the late Joseph Leon and Arleen Goyette; brother of the late Patricia Erickson.
Doug started off working as a real estate salesman for his father after his graduation from Niagara State University. He moved to Tucson, AZ with his family, sold houses for a short period of time, then worked as a correctional officer before finding his passion with volunteer services at the Tucson Food Bank. He had a love for hiking, camping, the great outdoors, baseball and football.

Margaret “Peg” Colucci
Age 95, of Monroeville, formerly of Homewood, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019. The loving daughter of Francesco and Angela. youngest sister of the late Joseph Colucci, Rachel Garland, Jennie Lintleman, Mary Rosella, Evelyn Colangelo, Domenic and Michael Colucci. She is survived by 105 nieces and nephews, great- nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. She is remembered for her quick wit, great sense of humor, storytelling and as the historian of the family’s genealogy
During WWII, after graduating from Westinghouse High School with highest honors, she became the Rosie the Riveter of Homewood by helping make military ammunition shells. Peg worked for 40 years as a professional bookkeeper for several auto dealerships and a real estate agency. As a certified public accountant she prepared income tax returns for many family members and friends every year, well into her late 80s

Paul L. Gruver
Age 76, passed away April 26, 2019. Born June 28, 1942, son of the late Lawrence and Bessie Gruver; husband of the late Nancy P. Gruver; cherished father of Kathleen L. Gruver of Santa Barbara, CA, 30-year love and soulmate of Carol Kairies; beloved friend of Lee and Candace Kairies-Beatty of Winona, MN; also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Paul was a lifelong resident of Wilkinsburg and Penn Hills, and 50-year owner of Pennwood Paint in Wilkinsburg before retiring. He was an avid Pirates and Steelers fan and an overall great guy to all that knew him.
