Agnes Russo (Blasiak)

Age 91, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 13, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Larry Russo; mother of Mary Kay Mascara (Frank), Joe (Allegra Gulli), Larry (Dina), Frank (Maria), Lisa Baird (Doug), and the late Deborah; also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Agnes was dedicated to her family and enjoyed people and anyone stopping by could always count on having coffee available, enough to eat, and likely a good game of cards to pass the time.

Theodore “Ted” Eazor

Age 66, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 13, 2021 after a long battle with brain cancer. Beloved husband of Nancy Eazor; father of Frank (Jodi) Vecchio and Cindy (John) Praski; son of the late Jim and Janet Eazor; grandfather of Regie Kessler, Brandon and Tyler Vecchio, and the late Tarin Mock; great-grandfather of Ryker Kessler; brother of Deborah (Eazor) Mooney and the late James Eazor, III; wonderful uncle to his four nieces. Ted was a successful business owner for 40 years of Eazor’s Auto Salon in Penn Hills, a vital part of the community, and loved by his many friends and customers.

Lois A. Choby

Age 80, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 6, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Edward G. Choby; mother of Cathlene (Gerry) Mohney and Michael Choby. Lois was a past treasurer of the Penn Hebron Garden Club and a parishioner at St. Susanna Church for many years. James R. Montgomery

 

Age 58, of Verona, passed on May 6, 2021. James is survived by his wife, Arnel Montgomery, and his son, Ryan Montgomery, both of Verona, and sister, Jill Montgomery of Redding, California and his father, Weldon D Montgomery of Watsonville, California. James graduated from the University of California, Davis in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering and immediately joined the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program at Mare Island Naval Shipyard in Vallejo, California. Jim and Arnel moved to Pittsburgh in 1995 when he was offered a job with the Naval Reactors Field Office in West Mifflin. He worked there until his retirement in 2021. A memorial service will be held at Mt. Hope Community Church, 12106 Frankstown Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15235 on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Charles Andrew “Chuck” Then

Known as “Skip” to many, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully Friday, June 4, 2021 at Forbes Hospital at the age of 82. He was born May 14, 1939 to the late Charles J. and Mary (Healy) Then.

After serving four years in the United States Army, Chuck served numerous years in the United States Army Reserves earning the rank of Staff Sergeant, He dedicated a career of 43 years with the United States Federal Government; working 15 years for the Gettysburg National Military Park Service and 23 years with the Department of Veteran Affairs in Pittsburgh, retiring in 2014. While Living in Gettysburg, he was devoted to his community serving as a volunteer with the Gettysburg Fire Department and St. Francis Xavier School and Church.

Chuck loved his family, gardening, and spending time on the upper deck of a cruise ship. He enjoyed Spoiling his grandchildren, spending many happy hours working in his greenhouse, planting flowers and traveling with his wife and family.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Donna Then; three children, Robert (Heather) Then of Gettysburg, Joanie (Edward) Nicholson, and Daniel (Amanda) Then of Pittsburgh, the heart of his heart, grandchildren Jordan Roberson (Fiancée Jade Johnson), Mackenzie and Nicholas Moquin, of Pittsburgh, Kaitlyn Then of Gettysburg, Addison, Brooklynn, Jackson, Emmalynn, and Grayson Then of Pittsburgh. He also leaves behind his two brothers, James (Kathy) Then of Slippery Rock and Eugene (Arlene) Then of Wexford. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews and their children.
