Beloved husband of Dorothy; father of Saundra (Al) DeFazio, Guy Jr, and John (Jaime) Anzelone; grandfather of Anthony, Natalie, Nicholas, and Aleassa; great-grandfather of Nico; brother of Mario Anzelone, Alphonse (Roxanne) Anzelone, Barbara (Richard) Stout, and Irene Anzelone.

Passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 19, 2017 at her home with her family near her side. Alberta was 98 years old. Beloved wife of the late Homer Schafer Sr; mother of Diane (Tim) Pittman, Homer (Denice) Schafer, Jr., Elizabeth (Tom) Stilley, Alberta (Pat) Ward, Cheryl (Ken) Aiken, George (Tracey) Schafer. Our mother was blessed with loving grandchildren, Lisa, Jeremy, Jaison, Michael, Jimmy, Cara, Kenny Jr, Jessica and Taylor; Great-grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua, Jordan, Seth, Anne, Logan and Landon. As a family, we were so very blessed to have had our mother with us so many wonderful years. She will be missed dearly; but our faith tells us that she is at peace now. God received his newest angel.
